Standard

Passport

  • Valid for 6 months beyond the last intended date of departure from Zambia
  • Should have no alteration or handwritten amendments in the data pages

Photograph

  • Recent colored passport size photographs (35 mm wide by 45 mm high without border) and taken within the last 3 months
  • Applicant full face must be clearly visible without any headgear taken against a plain white background

Flight Ticket

  • Applicant needs to provide confirmed/booked round trip flight tickets to Zambia
  • We recommend to book refundable tickets just in case your visa gets rejected

Cover Letter

  • A Covering letter from the Applicant on A4 Size Paper (if Employed) or else on Business Letter Head (if Self Employed)

Accommodation

  • Applicant must provide confirmed Hotel Voucher
  • We recommend to book refundable hotel booking just in case your visa gets rejected
  • In case staying with relative/friend then there Local address in Zambia along with their Id proof copy along with invitation letter from their end

Bank Statement

  • Upload your last 6 months bank statement.

There are only three entry ports in Zambia that accept the e-Visa, that include- Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka. Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport in Livingstone. Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport in Ndola.

The e-Visa is valid for 90 days after issue, you can enter Zambia on any date within this period. Failure to enter within this period renders your e-Visa invalid, and thus you will have to apply again. So, if you wish to visit in a week, book your Zambia visa online right away.

No, it is not necessary since immigration officers at ports of entry can verify your e-Visa approval in their systems. As you submit the Zambia visa application online, you will receive the e-visa at your registered email. However, keep in mind that it's recommended that you always carry your printed e-Visa approval letter just in case.
